I have the pioneer per stainless raindrop fountain & my cats LOVE it , when I am taking it apart , cleaning & sanitizing they sit and wait ( even though a fresh bowl of spring water is available) .

Years ago for my rescues I started with the plastic fountains, then a couple years ago went to the SS. Last year however I was noticing my cats not drinking as much water even when I was cleaning it every day. I thought maybe something wrong with my well water, started buying spring water, no change. I then continued using the SS , however got a couple ceramic bowls and the cats would drink from them and not the fountain. I just recently purchased a miaustore ceramic water fountain. Had some problems with shipment, however once I got it set up, cats are drinking from it constantly . Going to get another ceramic one probably the Petsafe Drinkwell Pagoda Pet Water Fountain.
